Overview
Bauhaus Spinning Top
Originally known as the Optischer Farbmischer, this spinning top is a magical demonstration of color theory. Designed by artist Ludwig Hirschfeld-Mack in 1924, the deluxe set from Naef includes 7 interchangeable discs inspired by legendary Bauhaus figures such as Goethe, Schopenhauer, and Hölzel.
Spin the 4" wooden top and watch as the vibrant colors on each disc blend together in different and surprising ways. A brief exploration of various aspects of color theory is included with each set as well. A beautiful and timeless blend of art and science.
