Overview
Not So Perfect Sale
Each year we amass thousands of decks whose condition doesn't meet our high retail standards. We do this by carefully examining each deck shipped— looking for imperfections—and setting aside those "not so perfect." We then offer them in tiers, ranging from $3 to $7, depending on the extent of their imperfections. Some decks will have been opened and used for product photography, while others will only have a small ding on the box. The one characteristic they all have in common is that they're perfectly usable–nothing is wrong with the cards themselves.
What is perfect, anyway?
As mentioned above, we base our scrutiny on unparalleled retail standards. Therefore, when you shop with Art of Play, you can be assured the regular decks you purchase will come carefully packaged in pristine condition.
Black Market Collection
This year, we're introducing hundreds of new decks with The Black Market Collection. The decks in this collection are brand new, qualifying as "perfect." It’s The Perfect Not So Perfect Sale, or something like that.

Featuring a variety of brand new decks from some of the top cardistry brands in the industry such as Dan and Dave, Fontaine, Anyone, Dealersgrip, Fulton and Heath playing cards.
Like New ($7)
A collection of decks in like-new condition that are no longer available in our shop and/or have been discontinued.
Workers ($5)
Damaged outer packaging. Cellophane might be removed or torn. All cards are in playable condition. This tier also includes brand-new decks that were acquired by and/or donated to Art of Play.
Seconds ($3)
Open and used for product photography or as a retail sample in addition to brand-new decks that were acquired by and/or donated to Art of Play.
